Anxiety Relief
This course will provide you with numerous strategies, or what we call Keys, to help you with everyday anxiety & at times, on-going aggravations. We also focus on the “voices” or messages that cause us daily frustrations. As presenters, we realize that the more strategies we possess & practice, the more options we have to lessen our anxiety. For the reality is, no one strategy works in all situations. There is no such thing as “one size fits all” there is only the hope to keep trying as many strategies as possible.

Social Media and Your Mental Health
“It is okay to own a technology; what is not okay is to be owned by technology.” This course will focus upon current research as to the impact of social media/technology. You will learn both benefits and the negative impact of social media. The course will also provide numerous strategies to find balance with your life and technology, both for adults and children.

Someone May be Talking; Doesn’t Mean They Are Communicating
"For true listening to occur, someone must stop talking." (Veronica-Yoga Teacher) When a personal or work-related issue is occurring, more than likely, it is based on a break-down in communication. The frustrations felt may be disguised as blaming, as victimization, as wanting to “give up,” etc., which will only add to the break-down of a relationship. This course will not only help you become a more attentive listener and communicator in general, but it will also help: - Identify problems in personal and/or professional arenas - Understand the roles people play - What one does to improve a personal relationship - Supervise in a more productive manner - Become more of a team player in an organization.

Drama, Drama, Drama
How does one move from everyday drama to a healthier approach to life? Stephen Karpman researched the Dreaded Drama Triangle across world-wide cultures. This course will focus on the work done by “The Center for the Empowerment Dynamic” and their development of the Empowerment Triangle. This alternative to the Drama Triangle offers alternative roles that empower us to choose our responses to life’s more difficult situations. “The Center for the Empowerment Dynamic” describes relationships that are positive, constructive, empowering, resilient and outcome based.

Conflict Management
Conflict is an inevitable part of everyday life. How we handle our differences is based on how knowledgeable we are about human behavior and how skilled we are with our communication skills. This course places you at the foundation of handling conflict by expanding your view of the differences in the way people think, act, and communicate and how those differences influence the way we respond to heated discussions and difficult situations (conflict).

Personality Types
Who is the Difficult Person? A difficult person may have characteristics that “bother others.” Such individuals may be difficult to communicate with, more often than not. If we self-reflect, sometimes we can all be difficult. However, difficult people do exist, such as the “downer, the perpetrator, the back-stabber, and/or the narcissist.” This course will help you in the identification of personalities and provide strategies in dealing with different types of people. We must remember, we cannot change or control others; we can control how we respond to them.

Customer Service: Must Start From One’s Inner Core
Encourages employees to make a good first impression, be disciplined and focused, take a positive approach to customer needs, and find ways to go above and beyond when meeting customer expectations. “You can’t reach out to others until you are in touch with yourself.”

"Change is the Only Constant"
Change may feel like a loss until one gets to the other side of the change/loss. Then there is an acceptance of the ‘new normal.’ “Nothing always stays the same. You don’t stay happy forever; you don’t stay sad forever." (Cat Zingano) Nothing in life stays the same even if we want it to stay the same. In this course you will learn to not only accept the inevitable, that change is the only constant, but how to manage the feelings/frustrations/reactions one has during a “shifting time.” Grief is also a major change of life. Grief comes after a death, but also comes when a there is a job change, moving, health issues, money issues, and life issues. How we work through the stages of grief and finally find a place of acceptance is a long journey that starts with baby steps.
